Meningitis B Vaccine
We are now offering the Meningitis B vaccine “Bexsero” at Clann Medical Centre for those who have not had it as part of their routine childhood vaccines (i.e. children born before 1 st October 2016). Shingles Vaccines
We are now offering the Shingles vaccine “Shingrix” at Clann Medical Centre. The vaccine is not part of the national immunisation programme, however, the National Immunisation Advisory Committee (NIAC) recommend immunisation with “Shingrix” for the following groups: · All adults aged 65 years and older is recommended due to the greater burden and severity of disease and PHN in this age group. · All adults aged 50 years and older with immunocompromising conditions

Temporary traffic management at N80 Mountmellick Rd, Portlaoise
New sewer works between Portlaoise Soccer Club and the new housing development opposite Clann Medical Centre will take place between the 9th of February 2026 and the 20th of March 2026 daily Monday to Friday 08:00- 18.00.
